Use the shares you hold to improve companies’ behaviour on environmental and social issues!

ACCR has recently put forward resolutions to BHP and Woolworths to put climate change and human rights issues on the agenda at their AGMs. We are now engaging with Rio Tinto about the discrepancies between their stance on climate and that of the lobby groups the company is a member of.

If you hold shares in Rio Tinto and are interested in supporting a resolution similar to that which we put to BHP, you have an opportunity to use your power as a shareholder to ask companies to improve on things you care about. Moving resolutions at AGMs is one of the most powerful tools we have to change the behaviour of corporations. All you need to do is fill out the form below. We need to get 100 shareholders to sign onto each resolution to be able to file them. If we plan to lodge a resolution with another company you hold shares in, we will be in touch. Sign up and support shareholder action!
